Windows 10 screen rotation

Napisane przez Kamila

Have you ever been in a hurry to press the wrong key combination and flip the image 180 degrees? Or maybe your laptop was accessed by children who turned the desktop upside down while playing? Do not worry! In today’s article, we will show you that the way to return to the default settings is really very easy and it only takes a few clicks to flip the screen in Windows 10. Follow the instructions step by step.

Keyboard shortcut

The easiest way to restore the default display settings is Ctrl + Alt + PgUp or Ctrl + Alt + Up arrow .

Win10 screen rotation, hotkey

Note: The keyboard shortcut does not always work. This is due to different standards of graphics card manufacturers. If this is applicable in your case, please follow the step-by-step instructions below.

Keyboard shortcut not working?

  1. To change the screen settings in Windows 10, you can use the “Start Menu” by clicking on the start icon in the lower left corner of the screen. Then select “Settings. Another way is to right-click on the desktop of your computer. A list of available options will then open, from which you select” Display settings “.
  2. After selecting the first method, ie by clicking on “Manu Start” and “Settings”, open the “System” tab. (Important: if you choose the second method, i.e. right-click on the desktop, you will be taken directly to the Screen view – see point 3).
  3. In the menu bar on the left, select “Display”. Then use the selection of options in the “Orientation” section (horizontal – default, portrait, landscape inverted, portrait inverted). Confirm by clicking the “Apply” button. After confirming your selection, the Windows 10 screen will be inverted as you wish.
