Google Maps is available in a number of languages, including:
English, Spanish, French, Italian, German, Portuguese, Dutch, Polish, Russian, Chinese (Simplified), Chinese (Traditional), Japanese, Korean, Turkish, Arabic, Thai, Vietnamese, Indonesian, Malay
To change the language that Google Maps displays, you can go to the settings menu and select the language you want to use. You can also set your device’s language to a language that is supported by Google Maps, and the app will automatically display in that language.
Android Device
To change the language of Google Maps on an Android device:
- Open the Google Maps app on your Android device.
- Tap the three horizontal lines in the top left corner of the screen to open the main menu.
- Scroll down and tap “Settings.”
- Tap “Language & Region.”
- Tap “Language” and select the language you want to use from the list.
iOS (Apple) Device:
- To change the language of Google Maps on an iOS device:
- Open the Google Maps app on your iOS device.
- Tap the three horizontal lines in the top left corner of the screen to open the main menu.
- Tap “Settings.”
- Tap “Language & Region.”
- Tap “Language” and select the language you want to use from the list.
Note: Some languages may not be available in all regions. If the language you want to use is not listed, it may not be supported in your region.
